The not-so-funny newspaper...

I got this book from Jam before she left. It's called "The Hobbit" and it's a darn good riot. It's the pre-quel to the "Lord of the Rings" and personally, I think I prefer "The Hobbit" to it's decendant. There is just so much fun in it, but still quite the smart book that it is.

Reading the newspaper and I came upon an entry about bulletproof bra. Obviously, I laughed uncontrollably. I mean what is the point of that? It's like another useless piece of invention. Ah well, to each his, I mean her own.

Reading the newspaper is a love and hate thing for me. What is with all these weird thing going around the world? I mean, doesn't anyone ever think anymore. What happened to a person's ability to think? Has it all gone down the drain like an untouched plate of lasagna?

It's just wrong, I tell you. Just so very wrong. Plus, why in the world would anyone throw a good plate of lasagna? It's just a crime to all good foods in this world.

But seriously, it's just kind of sad really. Our world today is travelling at a neck-breaking speed down to the ground. Morals no longer matter. I mean, I'm all for technology and open-minded-ness or whatever, but that doesn't mean I have to keep my mind open to everything.

I don't think I can keep my mind open to the fifteen year old boy who killed his thirteen year old girlfriend. I don't think I can keep my mind open to using porn as punishment to children who don't do their homework.

What the heck kind of punishment is that?

You see it everywhere, you read it everywhere. Nobody cares about the life of another human being anymore. Nobody gives crap about anybody else's lives. Everyone else are like animals in their eyes.

Personally, I think it's going to get worse. Why? Because the end times are coming and I have a feeling that it's going to be much much worse than this. It's depressing, but it's what we have to face.

Dumb people who have no heart. Dumb cowards who can't see the importance of another person's life. Dumb people who can't treat anyone right. Dumb jerks who think only about themselves. Dumb dorks who think only about their pain, their suffering, their joy.

I always get like this whenever I read the newspaper. I know it's much worse than what they portray, but it just gets annoying.
