Oh for the love of Buddha...

"Jesus!"

A loud cry of pain.

You'd think I was talking about some kind of pain of the heart. Or someone crying out to God and Jesus to save him. But no.

The guy accidentally hit his finger instead of the nail, with a hammer.

This is something that interests me.

I mean of all names to use as a profanity, why Jesus?

Why does it hold more impact compared to say... Buddha, Mohammed or Socrates? Can you imagine it?

"Oh for the love of Buddha! She's late again!"

"Holy Socrates?! What the *beep*?!"

It's just funny if you ask me.

But back to my main point.

Why his name?
